Facial hair removal thinking of lazer hair removal?

Im thinking of facial hair removal, a friend reffered me to this place somewhat okey price. I hate shaving often and it grows fast and thick so therefore it would benefit me alot, but what are the precautions? and do they close your poors with the lazer?

Lazer hair removal [or 'electrolysis'] did not work for me.At all.It made it thicker and coarsier, actually. And I have heard this from many people too.Youre going to have sessions once to twice a month and it usually costs from $130-300 in total. These sessions will go about for 3-12 months depending on your hair type.If it's more money than $130-300,they are ripping you off.All I can say is that it works for some people, and for others it dont, and some made it worse for them, like me.In my opinion I think a good bee wax facial machine is the best thing to spend your money on.

depending on which kind of lasering you decide to get (different places offer different types). some of it can make your skin break out for a few days, some doesn't. if you have sensitive skin i suggest consulting the person doing the lasering. You may be able to get a free consultation depending upon the place.

I went to a consultation at one well known place and changed my mind when she answered my question about scarring w/ does it really matter? Definately ask a lot of questions. And if they give you a 800 number where you can reach the dr.(!) go somewhere else.

A laser produces a beam of highly concentrated light. Only certain types of lasers produce the kind of energy that will permanently disable the hair follicle. the Laser is attracted to the pigment in the hair follicle. The laser pulses for a fraction of a second, just long enough to vaporize the pigment, disabling several follicles at the time to permanently eliminate or significantly impede the hair's growth.

The length of a laser session may be a few minutes to an hour or more, depending on the size of the area being treated. Hair has both an active and dormant growth phase. Because the hair follicles that are in the active growth phase are more susceptible to the laser light, several treatments every 4-8 weeks will be required for best results.
