Is facial hair normal on a woman?

my friend says that women are not supposed to have facial hair. if they do its because of too much androgens (male hormones). is that true? i see a lot of women with facial hair not like a beard but just very fine baby hair on the upper lip and cheeks. none on the chin. i was just wondering if some degree of facial hair is normal in a female? or is it because of a hormonal imbalance?

Yes it is. Where are you from? I've seen some indian girls with some serious beards, Its not normal if you live among caucasian people. It totally depends on where you're from (your background). North American society look at this being weird, but the truth, it is more common than you think. This is genetical, i wouldn't say because of hormone imbalance, because you're designed to have some if you do. Just pluck it, when you can afford it laser it. I've a lot of very good looking girls (to me), who have some facial hair.

well,a certain degree of hair can be seen in the face of normal women.so, its perfectly alright..

however, a bit more of facial hair can be seen in women due to various reasons..
