when you bleach facial hair on your upper lip, do you have to keep bleaching it? does it fade? i've noticed that it fades for me after a couple months....so would it make more sense to dye it instead??? any inexpensive ways to keeping facial hair away??
Bad facial hair?
When you bleach facial hair, you are only bleaching the hair you see outside of the hair folicle. Hair grows at an average rate of 1/4 inch or so per month. So, within a month, you are going to have new hair growth, and you will see "roots" on your upper lip, just as you would if you were bleaching the hair on your head.
So, you have to continue to re-bleach the new growth every 2 - 3 weeks, to keep up with the new hair growing in. Bleaching is not permanent.
Your best bet would be to wax the hair off, as it will take 4 - 5 weeks to grow back, until you have to re-wax. Waxing lasts longer than bleaching. Waxing is quick and easy, and it leaves your skin very, very smooth to the touch.
Whatever you do, do not shave it (rasor/personal groomer), as then you will have that "stubble" feeling on your face. That's not something you want to have on your upper lip.
If you want more permanent results, see your dermatologist about laser hair removal. Also, there is a creme called, Vaniqa. I have included a link below. Your dermatologist can prescribe it. Vaniqa is the only FDA approved prescription cream for women that reduces facial hair.

Of course you have to re bleach it, the hair grows out. Even if you dyed it, you would have to re-dye it in the same amount of time. Its the same thing.

I know my eyebrows will never stop growing. When it comes to growing hair, everyone is different, in different places in their body. I would say, get it waxed regularly, there really isn't muck else you can do. Don't put makeup over it. This will make the hair show more.

Really you should have laser hair removal (if you have darker hair). Bleaching is kind of gross because it just colors the hair, it doesn't remove it. Waxing can really irritate the skin and be time consuming. If you have a lot, it grows really fast or it just bugs you, get laser hair removal. It's about $150-250 to have it permanently removed from your lip area, and over the long term, it's the best solution. It takes about 3-6 sessions, but usually you can purchase a package.
If it's not very noticeable and you don't need to remove it often, then sometimes it easiest to just buy one of the small pen-like "personal groomer" things. I use it about once every other month. You can't do this if you have coarse or thick body hair though, it must be very fine and sparse.

let it grow..but if it grow too much..dye it.

I do not know whether you are a male or a female. If you are a male there is nothing to worry as you would be shaving it on a regular basis. I havn't heard or seen female dying their facial hairs to camouflage it. If you are a female and the facial hairs are so bad that it bothers you then I suggest you better get it removed permanently. It will give a smooth skin and increase your face value. Dying etc are all time consuming and waste efforts. Do not try to reinvent the wheel. Just get it removed and see the difference.
